Not bad!
The lowest C on the piano that you play in the beginning is too loud.
Nice subtle buildup.
Great dubstep style bass in the middle and near the end, paired with great drums.
Hope your song does well! There's not much wrong with it.

The-Cockenator responds:

Thanks for the feedbacks :P

Nice dubstep there.
Your first instrument was a little bit irritating.
It would be nice if the drop snuck up on you and it wasn't so obvious.
But, the drop was AWESOME. Nice distortion.
It sounds a bit strange to have the drop bass play the same notes during and outside of the drop. More variation would be better.
Thanks for the great song! Keep making dubstep

i'm jealous

the instruments and sounds are so cool
the buildup is kinda slow
nice dance feeling
your melody is somewhat weak and too simple compared to your background
good trance at the end
but the fade at the very end breaks the feel and there must be a better way to end it

sweet

i love the detuning
nice beat
you changed it up just enough to keep it interesting for a little while, but in the end it gets repetitive, especially when you keep the exact same beat for 4 minutes
i think it's just fine without vocals
solid ending, they're tough
unusual title for the song?

HarvestThrone responds:

Thanks! I understand, and will be looking forward to rewriting/mastering this song, and others, once I get my studio together.

boo

srsly
you could combine all your songs, connect them somehow, and make one giant song
if you hadn't posted the same thing over and over again then this would be an ok song

too bad i've never heard the original

not-percussion instruments really match
nice trance feel
but quite repetitive
the song never quite builds, it just sits there and then it becomes somewhat boring
shaker sometimes seems out of place with the other instruments that have lots of reverb
anyway, nice job!

fl studio ftw

nice feeling and beat
title really doesn't fit
loops kinda awkwardly, if the song didn't completely drop off at the end that would be better
gets quite repetitive
meh chords

intersecting melodies are awesome

don't get the title...
nice beat
part beginning at 1:39 = awesome
try not to use two of the same or similar instruments at the same time
not sure why it faded at 2:30 or so
not sure this is video game either
great job anyway, impressive melodies, but it ends kinda abruptly

for a beginner, awesome

you really have the feel down
the ambience in the background is really good
but try to use different rhythms and not just short quarter notes
also, when you combine short sounds with a long drawn out background, it kinda clashes
the air rush sound in the beginning is really cool, use it more lol

gormor777 responds:

Thought I check back to looking at my old songs and I find another comment wootness~ XD

Indeed I can agree that the Quarter notes are a bit much, but this was my first song that I made so yeah variety was kinda sparse for me ahahaha :D

Indeed Windy sound effect was one of my favorite things to work with, though I had a hard time trying to figure out how to fit it in but seems I didn't do to badly though.

Thanks for your Review it's actually given me a general idea of where I should be practicing on more.
